With its epic surroundings and diversity, the emerald Soča River hides many places loved by outdoor enthusiasts.
But for a real taste of Soča, you must experience it on the water. That’s why we’re offering SUP tours down this beautiful river, perfect for both beginners and experienced paddleboarders.
Our tours take you to the top SUP locations on the Soča River, including some hidden gems you can only discover on a paddleboard.
You’ll be able to explore the most beautiful river in Slovenia while paddling through its calmer waters around Most na Soči. Either way, a fun and memorable experience is guaranteed!
Our ASI-certified guide will make sure everything goes smoothly, organizing some fun games and challenges to keep you engaged and entertained throughout the refreshing experience.
And since they’re pros at it, they can also teach you a lot about the art of stand-up paddle boarding. But as locals, they can also tell great stories about the region you’ll be exploring.

SUP & Hike Soca Valley Tour
If you want to explore the Soča Valley in all its magnificence, you must include some hiking too. Our full-day SUP & Hike tour will take you to our favorite paddling location at Most na Soči (look above). After a meal break, fun games and a refreshing swim, we’ll drive you further up the valley to visit the famous Soča Gorges and hike to Kozjak Waterfall. We’ll return over the Vršič Pass, tasting delicious Alpine cuisine in the nearby hut and saying goodbye to the Soča Valley.

Things to know
Wear comfortable clothes, like a T-shirt, shorts or a swimsuit. We recommend that you wear flip-flops or other shoes that can be worn on the paddleboard. In spring and autumn, it can get a little chilly, so we recommend wearing something warm like a hoodie, or we can lend you a short wetsuit free of charge (just tell us the size you need beforehand).
Bring some water, sunscreen, and a change of clothes if you happen to fall in without a wetsuit. For the full-day hike & SUP tour bring extra water (1,5 – 2 l), some snacks to last you till the afternoon lunch, comfortable pair of hiking shoes and a sweater for potentially colder mountain weather.
We want to ensure that your paddle-boarding tour is safe, so we’ll go out in all types of weather except heavy rain, strong river currents, or wind. If the weather is bad enough that we have to reschedule your tour for another day or time, we will give you a full refund.
Anyone who can swim is welcome to join our stand-up paddleboarding tours, even without any prior experience with SUP. If you feel unsure, we can provide you with a life jacket — just tell us before the tour. You need some prior experience to join our whitewater tour in Bovec, but we give you a course in the specifics of tackling the rapids on a stand-up paddleboard. You just need to know the basics, before you get there.
Stand-up paddleboarding is considered an easy sport, as people of all ages and fitness levels can have a go at it.
Yes! Younger children can sit in front of their (experienced) parents’ board where they will enjoy the experience as much as if they were holding the paddle themselves. Children over 12 can join us on their own SUP board.
Of course, it is one of the cleanest rivers in Slovenia. Many people enjoy its refreshing water in summer, but it might be too cold for you in autumn, winter and early spring.
